Chelsea have demanded that Real Madrid pay at least £100million for Eden Hazard, according to the Telegraph.
The Belgian finally looks set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, having given seven years of superb service to the club.
He has flirted with moves in the past only to remain a Chelsea player, but this time his exit feels imminent.
Hazard’s hero Zinedine Zidane has returned to Madrid for his second stint as manager, which has only heightened the chances of the 28-year-old moving on.
It will be a huge blow to lose such a world-class player, should a move come to fruition, but it is hard to begrudge him the switch.
Hazard is expected to move on regardless of whether or not Chelsea’s transfer ban is upheld, not allowing them to replace him.
The Blues are taking legal advice in the hope of at least getting the ban frozen over the summer.
