Thibaut Courtois is reportedly facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid following the return of Zinedine Zidane and Chelsea fans around the world may just have something to say about that.
The Independent claims that the Belgian’s future with the Spanish giants is up in the air given the fact that Zidane himself personally blocked a move for the goalkeeper during his previous stint in charge.
Courtois was a long-term target for Los Blancos, but Zidane was not so convinced by a move.
The former Chelsea man longed for a return to Spain and would constantly talk up a move during his time at Stamford Bridge.
His exit has tarnished his reputation among Chelsea supporters, who were less than impressed with his antics.
