Manchester United fans want Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata replaced by Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong for the clash against Chelsea.
The two English giants face off in the FA Cup and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will have to do it without key players Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
The duo were taken off during the loss to PSG due to injury and were replaced by Sanchez and Mata respectively.
Most fans felt United lost the match once those substitutions were made and so don’t want to witness the same happen against the Blues.
Gomes and Chong have been on the edges of the first team for a while now and some supporters believe it’s time for them to take their chance.

I really hope we give Chong and Gomes a chance against Chelsea and the games coming up. I’d much rather see some fresh talent get a chance than see the same players who have been giving many chances to prove them self, fail again.

Without Lingard and Martial, I hope Solskjær doesn’t go for a Mourinho front three, with Mata right, Rashford left and Lukaku cluttering up the middle. A diamond or Chong on the right would be much harder to defend against.

Fans may be a little hasty in their request for the two youngsters as they may be doing more damage than good.
Though their frustrations are justified, throwing in Angel and Tahith in a crucial FA Cup tie against Chelsea is not the solution.
Should the two feel the pressure of the occasion and falter, it would do serious damage to their careers.
It would make more sense to give them minutes when United are playing lesser teams or during matches they’re already comfortably winning.
