Chelsea fans have revealed that they would like former Real Madrid player and manager Zinedine Zidane to take over from current Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
According to our ‘ winner-stays-on’ duel yesterday, 80% of Chelsea fans who took part want to see Zidane as the next manager of the club.
In second place is Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who is currently doing a wonderful job as the manager at Championship side Derby County.
Sarri is currently under heavy pressure after a recent decline in performances and results. The London club were hammered 6-0 by Manchester City in the Premier League and were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United on Monday night at Stamford Bridge.
The fans are losing patience with Sarri, whose stubborn managerial style isn’t working.
The final whistle on Monday night was met by a chorus of boos by the home fans, who have already seen enough from the Italian boss since his arrival last summer.
Chelsea face City again this weekend, this time in the Carabao Cup final and if things don’t go well, then Sarri may be on his way out of the club.
