Man United fans react to Pogba and Rashford connection vs Leicester

Manchester United fans had Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford to thank for their 1-0 victory over a stubborn Leicester side.

The two stars led their team to an important three points in their chase for a top four spot.

United got things moving quickly in the first-half with Rashford converting a delightful pass from Pogba to hand them the lead.

Eventually it proved to be enough though they had to battle for the win in the second-half as Leicester refused to roll over.

Paul’s chipped through ball was perfectly weighted and Marcus’ first-touch allowed him the time to slot it past Kasper Schmeichel.

Supporters will be hoping for more of that kind of connection between the two as they’ve proven pivotal in Manchester United’s revival so far.

Pogba had enjoyed a similar partnership with former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic and there’s no reason why he can’t strike up the same kind of relationship with Rashford.

The Englishman is an ever willing runner with the Frenchman happy to play the risky passes needed to break down tough opposition defences.

It’s clear Ole Gunnar Solskjaer favours the two over their competitors for the positions and so far his faith has paid off.
