Maurizio Sarri has reportedly been offered a way out of Chelsea, according to the Mirror, with Roma chiefs holding talks with the Blues boss.
The Italian is under pressure at the Blues after a poor run of results has seen Chelsea knocked out the FA Cup and drop out of the top four.
Rumours persist that the Chelsea boss could be out of a job as close as Sunday, with reports suggesting he could be sacked if Chelsea lose the Carabao Cup Final to Manchester City.
However, Sarri could have been handed a lifeline, with Roma holding talks over a potential switch.
The Mirror report that reports from Italy suggest that Sarri held talks with Roma Chief Franco Baldini for dinner in London earlier this week, to discuss a potential move to the Italian capital.
Eusbio Di Francesco is under pressure at Roma, and could be on his way out of the club very soon.
The Italian side sit fifth in Serie A, but are 25 points behind leaders Juventus in the table.
