Chelsea have announced the loan signing of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain.
As per the club’s official website, Higuain arrives at Stamford Bridge on an initial 12-month deal that includes the option to extend the loan by another year.

Higuain spent the first half of the season on loan at Milan after joining the Rossoneri from Juventus.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a move to sign the player over the summer but the striker would go on and join the San Siro outfit as part of the deal that saw Leonardo Bonucci return to Juventus.
The striker is a player that Maurizio Sarri knows all too well, having worked with him at Napoli.
The pair enjoyed a fruitful relationship during their time in Serie A, with Higuain impressing in front of goal while working under the Italian.
Sarri will be hoping that he can rediscover that form at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea struggling for goals this season.
Higuain’s arrival will allow Eden Hazard to return to a more natural position having been used as a makeshift striker this season.
