Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a January move for the £17.8 million-rated Spanish international Pablo Fornals (via The Mirror).
Arsenal made their club-record transfer in the January transfer window last season but it’s unlikely that we will get another Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this time around.
The Gunners are in need of reinforcement in a number of key areas but it’s unclear whether the money is available to make them a reality.
Player sales will raise funds and the British press are reporting that the potential sale of Mohamed Elneny could fund Arsenal’s move of a Spanish international.
The player in question is Pablo Fornals, a 22-year-old attacking midfielder who has caught the eye for Villarreal this season.

A £17.8 million price tag has been cited for a player who would reportedly represent a replacement for Aaron Ramsey.
Pablo Fornals seems like a promising young player. He has really caught the eye for Villarreal in La Liga and the Europa League this season. He has enormous technical quality and would be worth a gamble at the quoted price.
