Tottenham will be hoping that Christian Eriksen will be fit enough to feature against Chelsea this weekend.
The London Evening Standard reports that the player was ‘carefully managed’ during the international break following concerns over his fitness.
Eriksen had been suffering from an abdominal injury and there were suggestions it could derail his season completely.
However, the Dane has since worked his way back to fitness but there are still worries behind the scenes at Spurs.
Despite his injury problems, Eriksen remains a key figure for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, so his absence would come as a huge blow for Chelsea’s London rivals.
The two sides meet at Wembley on Saturday night in what looks set to be a huge game in the race for a spot in the top four.
Chelsea currently sit one point ahead of Tottenham in fourth and will be looking to close the gap between themselves and Manchester City with a positive result.
