Diogo Dalot has strongly hinted he will make his Manchester United debut at Vicarage Road against Watford on Saturday.
The teenager became the club’s first signing of the summer transfer window, arriving from Porto for around £18m.
A knee injury sustained in May has hitherto kept Dalot out of the squad and meant he trained separately from the squad over pre-season.
But Dalot has taken to social media to suggest he is in contention to start for the first time since becoming a Man United player.

Jose Mourinho did claim ahead of the 2-0 win over Burnley that Dalot, who he admires highly, would return along with Marcos Rojo for the meeting with Watford, who have won four games from four so far this term.
He is a predominantly right sided player, playing there for the Under 23s recently, but with Luke Shaw injured and Ashley Young not being considered by Mourinho at this point, he may end up making his first United start out on the left.
Dalot faces a baptism of fire against a physical and quick Watford team currently enjoying a flush of energy under new boss Javi Garcia. He will be expected to hit the ground running ahead of such an important month.
