Former Leicester City star Robert Huth believes Jose Mourinho’s main problem is how he’s not getting 100 percent from his Manchester United players.
The Portuguese manager has often complained of their attitudes heading into matches and fans often agree with him.
United have started the season poorly so far winning 10 points out of a possible 21 that’s left them struggling in mid-table.
Huth is convinced if the players buy into Mourinho’s ways then things will turn around for the disjointed club.
The 3-1 defeat to West Ham has left many fans feeling as though the Portuguese manager has lost the dressing room’s faith in him.
According to Manchester Evening News, Robert said: “What Mourinho had at Chelsea and at his other previous clubs was that the players bought 100 per cent into what he was trying to do.
“There was no I don’t like what we’re doing. Even if some players didn’t like what the plan was they bought into it and did the job 100 per cent.
“At the moment at United, there are too many voices saying ‘we should be doing this, we should be doing that or I should be playing in this position’.
“That’s when you get a performance like the one at West Ham, it just looked disjointed.”
Whether Jose can turn it all around and win the players’ faith once again remains to be seen but there’s sadly no hints it will happen.
The former Chelsea boss seems as though he will lose his job any time now as Manchester United continue to spiral.
Mourinho’s squad is more or less the same to the one that managed to get over 80 points last season in order to finish in second place.
That achievement seems a distant memory now with United needing a miracle to reach the same heights as the previous campaign.
