Manchester United won their first pre-season game of the summer through a truly crazy penalty shootout against AC Milan on Wednesday night.

Alexis Sanchez, who produced another excellent performance, put Jose Mourinho’s men ahead after 13 minutes, only former Liverpool midfielder Suso to level the game two minutes later.

No further score was added as the game slowly ossified, setting in motion a penalty shootout which lasted 30 minutes and took 13 rounds of spot-kicks before Man United won 9-8.
