Chelsea have been told that Inter will not consider a deal to sell Matias Vecino for less than around €25-€30 million.
A report from Calcio Mercato reports that a deal could happen this summer once Maurizio Sarri is appointed at Stamford Bridge.
Inter are said to be aware of interest from Chelsea, but a deal is unlikely to happen prior to an official appointment being made in London.
The former Napoli boss is keen to bring the player to England with him and has named the midfielder at the top of the transfer shortlist given to Chelsea.
Vecino is a player that Sarri knows well from his time in charge at Empoli. He is another player that he tried to sign for Napoli during his time there, but he was unable to do so.
The midfielder is currently away in Russia with the Uruguay squad, who are preparing to face France for a place in the World Cup semi-final.
