Manchester United are preparing a £60million bid for Chelsea forward Willian, according to a report in The Mail.
Ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was the man who signed Willian from Shakhtar Donetsk five years ago and the current United manager is hoping for a reunion this summer.
The 29-year-old wasn’t best pleased with not being a regular in the Chelsea line-up last season and his relationship with manager Antonio Conte seems fractured, as proven when the Brazilian purposely edited his boss out of his social media post when celebrating the Blues’ FA Cup win over Man United.
However, his relationship with Mourinho is a strong one and it would not be a huge shock if the Brazilian wanted to work with his former manager once again.
there had been rumours which suggested that Chelsea could use Willian in part of a player-plus-cash deal for Anthony Martial, but the United will look to sell him to a foreign club if they decide to let him go.
