Chelsea to pick new manager in a bid to keep star player happy

Chelsea hope to appoint a more attack-minded manager this summer in a bid to keep Eden Hazard at the club.

The Telegraph reports that the Blues are concerned about the prospect of losing the Belgian this summer following his relationship becoming strained with head coach Antonio Conte.

The Italian is widely expected to leave the club this summer and the Blues are considering both Luis Enrique and Maurizio Sarri, who they believe are more attacking coaches.

Chelsea are bracing themselves for a season without Champions League football and that could mean losing their star players.

Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Hazard, but Zinedine Zidane’s side are being heavily linked with a move for Neymar, which could keep the attacker at Stamford Bridge for the time being.

Despite the lack of Champions League football, Chelsea hope that Hazard would sign a new deal at the club if the right appointment is made.
