It was far from the most memorable match.
It took 57 minutes to get the second shot on target for either side but after the hour mark, the match really kicked into life.
Mesut Ozil went down in the box and the referee awarded the penalty. The decision was harsh but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stepped up to make it 1-0.
The former Dortmund added a second less than ten minutes later before substitute Alexandre Lacazette went down in the box and the referee again pointed to the spot.
The stage was set for Aubameyang to get his first Premier League hat-trick but instead, the Gabon international handed it to Alexandre Lacazette to make it 3-0 and end his goal drought.
It was a nice way to end what was a pleasing win.
