Real Madrid are now more likely to pursue a move for Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, rather than David De Gea.
The Independent claim that the La Liga outfit could be ready to pay upwards of £100 million for the Chelsea goalkeeper.
The report claims that Madrid could offer a number of players as part of the deal to bring the Belgian international to Spain.

Both Courtois and De Gea have been long-term targets for the Spanish giants, but a move for the former appears to be the easier of the two to complete.
De Gea has long been linked with a move to his home country after coming close to joining Madrid only a few years ago.
However, Manchester United are desperate to keep hold of the Spanish shot-stopper, while Courtois has expressed his desire to move back to La Liga for family reasons on several occasions.
The Blues have been holding talks with Courtois over a new deal for some time, but a deal isn’t likely to happen before the summer.
