Chelsea midfielder Willian has conceded that he dreams of a move to Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid one day as he fails to nail down a regular starting berth at Stamford Bridge according to Goal.
He has featured 41 times for the Blues this season but a number of them have come from the bench as Antonio Conte has played a 5-3-2 formation for much of the season which has seen him lose his regular spot.
The Brazilian signed in 2013 and has since made 220 appearances for the club in what has been a successful spell with the West London club.
Willian looks set to be staying where he is for now although a number of clubs have shown an interest in bringing the Brazilian to their club.
He needs to be starting more regularly if he is to force a way into that Brazil starting XI for the World Cup which starts in June.
He spoke about the situation in a recent interview:
They are the two biggest clubs in the world [Real and Barcelona], they are the clubs with the most visibility, it is everybody’s dream.
Of course there are other big clubs, there are Bayern, PSG, but these two are different.
Willian went on to add that he sometimes thinks about a return to Brazil with Corinthians later in his career:
Sometimes it comes to my head [to play for Corinthians].
I would like to end my career [at the club] and play for at least another year.
