Yeovil Town manager Darren Way noted that Jose Mourinho knew everything about him ahead of Manchester United’s 4-0 win over the League Two side on Friday night.
The home side begun with plenty of energy and grit, limiting the amount of chances Man United carved out, until some indecision at the back allowed Marcus Rashford to score his first goal of the year as half time approached.
Alexis Sanchez then teed up Ander Herrera to kill the game before substitutes Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku added some gloss to the scoreline late on.
And Way, reflecting on his conversation with Mourinho, noted that the 55-year-old had studied him meticulously ahead of the game.
Yeovil manager Darren Way says of chat with Mourinho: 'He knew everything about me. He obviously did his homework. It wouldn't have surprised me if he'd known my children's names'

This FA Cup tie took a very familiar form: the underdogs making a bright start, the crowd at a heightened level of receptivity early on, until eventually one mistake happens and the floodgates open towards the end.
And as Mourinho sat there in the dugout, you sensed he almost predicted what was unfolding in front him beforehand. He has been in these situations time and time again.
But make no mistake: the 54-year-old would have left no stones unturned whatsoever. There aren’t many better managers when it comes to finding an opponent’s kryptonite and a way to stifle their strengths. And a side currently occupying the relegation zone of England’s fourth division are, of course, no exception.
