Manchester City have reportedly pulled the plug on any potential deal for Alexis Sanchez with city rivals, United ready to pounce (via Goal.com).

Alexis Sanchez looks certain to leave the Emirates in the coming weeks but which part of Manchester he ends up at is open to debate.
For a long time, Manchester City looked to be the only likely destination but that has changed in the last week with city rivals, United reportedly keen.
Now, reports suggest that City have pulled out of the deal altogether with United the only side willing to pay what Arsenal are asking for the player.
The Gunners want upwards of £35 million for the Chilean and only United are willing to pay that at the current moment according to the BBC.
It remains to be seen how much truth is in these reports but the thought of Arsenal selling their best player to Jose Mourinho will send chills down the spine of many Gunners fans. Many still expect City to return with an improved bid but things need to move fast if Arsenal are to sign a replacement.
