Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would become the highest-earning player at Arsenal should his transfer from Borussia Dortmund be finalised (via The Metro).
It’s a deal which could be completed as early as today if reports are to be believed and we’re only just learning the details.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang now looks set to become an Arsenal player with a reported deal in place in the region of £60 million.
Now, details of the contract being offered to the Gabon international have been revealed and it makes for interesting reading.
Reports vary. Outlets in England suggest that the player will be paid around £180,000 per week while sources from Italy claim it to be around £170,000.

Either way, it eclipses the money currently going to Henrikh Mkhitaryan who is the club’s current top earner after his move from Manchester United last week.
You’d expect that both of those figures would be eclipsed should Mesut Ozil sign a new contract at the club in the coming weeks. Let’s hope that is the case because Arsenal’s front three has just been drastically improved.
