The BBC have reported that Arsenal are close to agreeing on a £60 million deal with Borussia Dortmund for the striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (via The BBC).
Arsenal fans may be forgiven for not getting too excited about the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang transfer rumours thus far.
For several years, the Gunners have been linked with signing player of that calibre but have rarely acted on the rumours and gotten the deals over the line.
However, it seems like it’s only a matter of time until this one goes through, especially considering the news coming out this morning.
The BBC are now reporting that a club-record deal for the striker is close to completion, providing the German side signs a replacement in time.
That replacement is no longer believed to be Olivier Giroud who is rumoured to be disinterested in a move to Dortmund.
