Arsenal players are growing increasingly frustrated with the transfer saga surrounding Alexis Sanchez and want him to leave the club before they face Crystal Palace on Saturday, according to reports.
The Chile international has been destined for a move away since the summer and agreed personal terms with Manchester United last weekend after they outbid Manchester City.
Any move for Sanchez, however, is contingent on Henrikh Mkhitaryan agreeing to go the other way, but the Armenian is in no rush to make a decision just yet, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
And according to the London Evening Standard‘s James Olley, Arsenal players are growing weary of the Sanchez saga and want his future to be resolved this week.
Arsene Wenger claimed following his side’s 2-1 defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday that the 29-year-old’s future would be resolved within 48 hours but that hasn’t happened, with Raiola ensuring that his client waits until receiving the best deal possible.
Both Arsenal and Man United want this deal done sooner rather than later, but the Mkhitaryan camp – ultimately the deciding factor in this saga – is in no rush whatsoever.
But make no mistake: Raiola, in the end, always gets the deal he wants, and it won’t be any different in this instance.
