Manchester United fans were hugely impressed by young French star Anthony Martial‘s display vs London club and rivals Arsenal.
The Red Devils travelled to the Emirates anticipating a tricky away fixtures but were quick off the mark, heading into half time with two goals, one of which was delightfully assisted by Martial.
A win against the Gunner’s was incredibly crucial since league leaders Manchester City have an eight point gap over United.
Anthony’s recent good form saw him start the game ahead of teammate Marcus Rashford, managing to win over Jose Mourinho with his consistent performances.
Having started the season on the bench, the former AS Monaco youngster has fought hard to find his way into the starting XI and fans hardly felt Rashford’s absence.

Martial’s incredible start vs Arsenal will be welcome and now fans will be keen to see whether Marcus can respond with his own set of good substitute appearances.
The Frenchman had to make do with whatever minutes was thrown at him by Mourinho but made use of it to the fullest extent, exciting supporters with his clinical nature.
Rashford’s own dip in form may be of some concern to Jose and the club’s fans but so long as Anthony is performing then there are no major issues.
The young Englishman will surely rediscover his own form in due time but the two players battling it out for the same position has been the story of the season so far and it’ll be interesting to see who wins it in the long term.
