Jose Mourinho has expressed doubts over whether Marcos Rojo will feature against AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night.
The Argentine suffered a clash of heads with David Silva during the first half of Manchester United’s defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.
Rojo, who came off worse than the Spaniard, played on with a heavily strapped head until half time before being replaced by Victor Lindelof.
And Mourinho, speaking at a press conference, noted that he wasn’t sure whether Rojo could recover in time to play but revealed that Phil Jones had fully recovered ahead of the game.
Jose spoke to #MUTV about Marcos Rojo's fitness: "He's a brave guy. I don't know – let's see if he can be ready for the match. but if he's not ready, we have other alternatives to play." #MUFC http://pic.twitter.com/CtFQ0Zba7M

Jose added: "Phil Jones was already on the bench [at the weekend]. The injury is behind [him] and hopefully he can stay fit." #MUFC http://pic.twitter.com/ufWzOAwfBN

The latest word from the post-derby fracas is that Rojo was the first to storm into the Man City dressing room after catching word of what was going on with Mourinho and the visiting players, storming in bare-chested to throw hands at anybody in his path.
Only something truly significant, you sense, would stop the 27-year-old from being amongst the fray.
However, he is unlikely to feature on Wednesday, with Mourinho probably planning to rest him for the trip to the Hawthorns on Sunday, giving Jones – who hasn’t played since the defeat at Stamford Bridge – a chance to work his way back to full flow instead.
