Michy Batshuayi is hoping to leave Chelsea in the new year to ensure he breaks into the Belgian World Cup squad this summer.
The London Evening Standard reports that the striker wants to secure a loan move when the January transfer window opens after failing to break into the Chelsea side this season.
A lack of form and injuries have seen the forward fall of out favour at Stamford Bridge, with head coach Antonio Conte preferring to use Eden Hazard as a false nine over Batshuayi.
The forward joined from Marseille in 2016 for a huge £33 million but has failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and recently turned out for the club’s U-23s in order to work his way back to full fitness.
Batshuayi was linked with a move away from the club in the summer but remained at the Bridge with the Premier League champions unable to sign a replacement.
