Chelsea prospect signs new deal until 2022

Chelsea have confirmed that promising winger Charly Musonda has committed his long-term future to the club.

Musonda has been tipped for big things and is understood to be held in high esteem by those at Stamford Bridge. While he has been frustrated by his lack of chances this season, it seems he is certain that Chelsea is the best place for his development.

Speculation had been mounting regarding Musonda’s future with the Blues but he has put an end to the talk by putting pen to paper on a new and improved five-year deal.

Musonda has shown flashes of quality when Antonio Conte has given him the chance to impress this season, and it seems the Italian boss has been convinced of the Belgian winger’s ability to be a key player for the club for years to come.

The 21-year-old is now contracted to Chelsea until 2022.
