Manchester United fans were bitterly disappointed with their players following the team’s performance vs Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Jose Mourinho’s men failed to win the only trophy available to them, concluding a frustrating season that heaps pressure on the manager to deliver next year.
United supporters were hoping to see more from their players, especially considering the Blues won by a single goals scored through a penalty by Eden Hazard.
While it was Phil Jones who gave the penalty away, most of his teammates were also poor and had around an hour to secure a comeback or even equalise.
However, the Red Devils failed to grab even a single goal and only mildly threatened in the second half with the players appearing to lose their clinical touch.
I remember when the name Manchester United meant something. When players left their everything on that pitch, win, lose or draw.

#CFC deserved winners. Took advantage of an appalling first period by #MUFC. United’s over reliance on Lukaku is another issue for Mourinho to address in the summer. Sanchez’s arrival hasn’t added the stardust he might have hoped. Very predictable in the final 1/3. So much to do.

Much has been made of the Manchester United players poor attitudes and today was another example of that as supporters saw two almost completely different halves.
The first half was terrible with some of their stars playing with fear but in the second half there was a huge improvement with Mourinho not even making any tactical changes.
This suggests the issue was simply the players mentalities and after the half time team talk it appeared to give them a lift though it ultimately proved to be not enough.
