Premier League side Chelsea have been warned by German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen about any approach made for winger Leon Bailey, who is not for sale at any price, according to a report on Goal.
The winger has been in impressive form this season and his performances have caught the eye of many top European clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal.
The winger was in the headlines again this weekend as he came off the bench to find the net twice in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Hannover.
The 20-year-old joined Leverkusen last January for €20m and the club are adamant not to sell him.
Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller revealed that the club are ready to turn down various clubs.
We have proven many times that we can say ‘no’. We are very relaxed.
The young Jamaican has become a key figure for Leverkusen at such a young age and the club are determined to allow him to develop with them.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is eager to add depth in his attacking department and has been keeping an eye on Bailey for some time.
His form this season has led to many clubs targeting him which means the Blues could face a battle to secure his signature.
Although, at the moment, Bailey looks like he isn’t going anywhere.
