Chelsea could replace Michael Emenalo with PSV director Marcel Brands according to reports in the Netherlands.
De Telegraaf report that Chelsea have sounded out Brands as a possible candidate to replace Emenalo, who recently stood down from his role to join French side AS Monaco.
The two clubs have built up professional relationships over the years, with deals for the likes of Marco Van Ginkel and Jeffrey Bruma being done in recent years.
The likes of Didier Drogba, Leonard Slutsky and Frank Lampard have all been linked with the vacant position and Chelsea are unlikely to rush a decision on their next appointment.
Although, the report suggests that PSV are preparing for the possibility of losing Brands during the winter months.
Brands has been influential with the Dutch club over the years, conducting big-money deals that saw the likes of Memphis Depay, Georginio Wijnaldum and Davy Pröpper all leave for the Premier League.
