Chelsea player ratings: West Brom (A)

Chelsea were in clinical fashion as they breezed past West Brom with an imperious 4-0 win at the Hawthorns.

Eden Hazard shone, as he was allowed the space to carve open the West Brom defence, and his shot was parried into the path of Alvaro Morata who steered home the rebound for his second goal in two games. Morata’s flicked pass then set through Hazard who rounded Ben Foster before tapping in.

Fabregas, who again excelled in the 3-5-2 formation, then curled in a free-kick which Marcos Alonso volleyed in at the back post to put Chelsea in complete control. Midway through the second-half, Hazard placed the gloss on the scoreline, bending his shot into the corner after Fabregas had clipped the ball over a static West From defence.

Chelsea brought on Drinkwater, Willian and Pedro but went on to grind out a very convincing away performance.
