According to talkSPORT, Chelsea and Liverpool are on high alert as PSG’s Javier Pastore considers his future at the French giants.
Pastore has struggled with holding down a starting position at Paris Saint Germain, with the likes of Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot and Thiago Motta all competing with the Argentine for a place in the first XI.
With the Russia World Cup just around the corner, Pastore will be hoping to get a place in Argentina’s squad for the competition, but to cement this, he will need to be playing regularly, which isn’t happening at PSG, who he has only made four appearances for this season.
Chelsea are interested in Pastore’s services, as well as Liverpool and Manchester United and at all three clubs, he will get more game-time, with the league, FA Cup and Champions League to focus on this season.
After getting dropped at the weekend for PSG’s game vs Ligue 1 holders, Monaco, Pastore said
I was disappointed. I always want to play, I do not play important matches like in the Champions League or today against Monaco. It was more or less like that all year long. I have already said it, I’m going to think about my future but the important thing is to try to help the team during the ten minutes that I enter the field.
