The famous number 14 shirt, formerly worn by Thierry Henry, and currently worn by out of favour striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, could soon be up for grabs and a sweetener in the transfer of Fiorentina’s top goalscorer, Dušan Vlahović.
Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang who is currently away at the African Cup of Nations with Gabon is expected to be on his way out of Arsenal, likely by the end of the month, unless a major shift in stance is found between striker and manager.
His rumoured departure would free up the number 14 shirt, worn by Thierry Henry, Martin Keown and Theo Walcott.
Dušan Vlahović, 21, is a striker that is seemingly on the radar of most top flight clubs at present, unsurprisingly so, with the Serbian firing 18 goals already this season and would certainly fit the bill at Arsenal, who are in desperate need of an out and out goalscorer.
According to Four Four Two, Lucas Torreira could be key to a transfer this month, with the midfielder currently on-loan at Fiorentina and the Italians keen to buy him permentnatly. This has led to rumour that the two clubs are now locked in talks to see these deals materialise, with Arsenal likely to pay around £50million to land the striker, with Torreira going for around £15million.
Tottenham, Manchester City, Newcastle, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all in the mix to sign Dušan Vlahović, but as of right now the Serbian hasn’t openly expressed a desire to go anywhere.
