Manchester United fans don’t have much to look forward to this January transfer window according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Supporters were hoping to see one or two fresh faces this window in the hopes it would aid their chances in the potential title race.
United can top the table with a three point gap if they beat Burnley later this evening and bringing in someone similar to Bruno Fernandes would do a world of good.
The Portuguese magician arrived last January and he was key in the club’s successful second half of the season where they ended in third place.
However, it seems as though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won’t be able to bring anyone in and fans should lower their expectations too.

Solskjaer has explained he expects there to be a few outs and can’t see any major ins happening, which is understandable given the current climate.
It seems any big purchases will only happen if enough players are sold and enough wages are freed up.
Considering how there are a few pieces of deadwood still laying around, in theory, it should be a successful window.
However, United have struggled to offload in the past and it shouldn’t be a surprise to see that happen again.
