Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained why he selected the defence he did as well as provided an update on a potential injury.
The former Molde man oversaw his side’s 2-2 draw with Leicester City, which was a result fans weren’t all too pleased with but accepted.
United’s Bruno Fernandes was central to everything good about the performance, as usual, grabbing a goal and an assist.
Supporters were not too happy with the defending from the team with Solskjaer choosing a back four of Victor Lindelof at right-back, Eric Bailly and Harry Maguire in the middle and Luke Shaw at left-back.
The defence was protected by the hard-working pair of Fred and Scott McTominay but they still conceded two poor goals.
OGS on Lindelof: "Not sure how badly he is hurt. Axel played really well against Everton. Couldn’t risk him a full game today. Always happy to have Eric against Vardy’s pace. At the moment Axel ready for Tuesday if needed."

Lindelof struggled at right-back and was in the end substituted for Axel Taunzebe as he appeared to be injured.
Fans wondered why the young Englishman didn’t start in the first place and it appears Solskjaer was trying to protect him as he returns from his own injury.
Whichever defence starts in the next fixture, Manchester United will have to defend better if they hope to challenge for the title.
A draw vs Leicester isn’t the end of the world but many feel it’s two points dropped simply because the team had the chance to win all three points but had to settle for one.
