Manchester United could be set to lose Daniel James as interest in his signature continues to rise ahead of the January transfer window.
The young winger has not had the same start to this season as he did in his debut campaign, featuring far less this time around.
James began his career at Old Trafford in stunning fashion and made a great impact on fans as he seemed tailor made for the club.
The former Swansea City man is a pacy winger who wasn’t afraid of taking on his man and could score when cutting in on his right foot.
Unfortunately his form has trailed off horribly since then and many fans now feel he’s not even good enough to be a squad player. Their wish may yet come true.
According WalesOnline, The Telegraph report that Leeds United still retain an interest in James and may test the Red Devils’ resolve next month, potentially capitalising on his lack of minutes.
Marcelo Bielsa is a long known admirer of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing and it seems he’s keen on finally getting his man.
It will be interesting to see if the legendary Norwegian considers James as a dispensible player or not, even if it is on a temporary loan basis.
Edinson Cavani has made quite an impact since his deadline day arrival at Old Trafford, but how much do you know about our other South American players, past and present? Take our quiz below to find out!
