Chelsea could be looking to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga at the end of the season, with their sights firmly set on Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan, according to a report from France.
Kepa is enduring a poor season, producing the worst save percentage of any other Premier League goalkeeper, and he was dropped for the 2-2 draw at Leicester City last weekend.
According to Eurosport France journalist Manu Lonjon, Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Maignan for ‘several months’ and have made him a priority for the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old was named Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year last season, conceding just 33 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets in 38 games.

Considering the Blues paid £71million for Kepa less than two years ago – the highest ever fee for a goalkeeper – he’d go down as one of the club’s biggest flops if he’s replaced already.
Statistics don’t lie but even by watching him, you don’t have to be a football genius to come to the conclusion that he’s in poor form.
However, aged 25, Kepa has so much time to flourish into an improved ‘keeper and I think it’d be a seriously hasty decision for the club to splash more cash on his replacement.
However, if his status as Chelsea’s no. 1 is at risk, he has the rest of the season to change his fortunes and impress Lampard.
Frank Lampard seems desperate to improve his squad, so it’d be confusing to see a chunk of the budget being used to replace a £71m player in the summer.
