Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told Manchester United’s hierarchy to prioritise signing a right-sided midfielder capable of complimenting the defensive strengths of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to a report.
United somewhat addressed their defensive issues over the summer by completing deals for Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
However, the club remains painfully short in attack following the decision to dispense with and fail to replace Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
According to The Athletic, Solskjaer has told the United hierarchy to find a player capable of attacking down the right.

This idea came up last summer, and many thought that Daniel James would solve it, but it turns out that the Welshman is better suited down the left, meaning that options on the other flank include: Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira (at a push).
Solskjaer should stop flirting here and say those two beautiful little words: Jadon Sancho.
The youngster fits the profile of what Solskjaer wants to the last degree and has been subject to United’s interest for over a year. It promises to be one of *the* transfer sagas of next summer.
