Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reserved special praise for Brandon Williams after his side scraped past Partizan Belgrade 1-0.
The legendary Norwegian’s men registered their first away win since the historic victory vs PSG last season and they didn’t cover themselves in glory this time.
Anthony Martial converted the penalty to give his side a lead and it was only won in the first place thanks to Williams’ brilliant individual piece of skill.
Fans also praised the academy product and are excited by his potential given the need for quality in the left-back position.
Although Luke Shaw is a decent option, many recognise the need for an upgrade or at the very least- some serious competition.
Solskjær: "Brandon [Williams] Man of the Match, absolutely excellent. Fantastic attitude, great defending, great in the air, gets us the pen by driving the ball forward, brave. We have found a left back there." #mulive

Shaw’s injury record doesn’t read well either so Williams would do well to continue taking advantage of his absence.
Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo are the more senior options at left-back but it would be safe to say fans would prefer to see more of the young Englishman.
Premier League opposition is a different ball game entirely but the hope is Williams can step up and perform in those games too.
It was thanks to his moment of magic that now Manchester United sit top of their group in the Europa League.
