Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho did not shy away from praising Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side for their performance in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool.
The Portuguese tactician has been working as a pundit for Sky Sports this season so naturally he has criticised his former side for their poor start so far.
However, Mourinho showed he’s equally happy to be positive about United and has lauded the players for showing courage on the pitch against the league leaders.
Solskjaer himself must be disappointed given how his side failed to keep their 1-0 lead due to an individual defensive error which let Liverpool equalise.
Had they gotten all three points, it could’ve sparked the Red Devils’ season into life and seen them begin to climb up the table.
José Mourinho: "At the beginning of the game I asked #mufc for heart. They had more than that — they had a game plan. They stuck to it." #mulive [sky]

Solskjaer’s game-plan wasn’t too far from what Mourinho would often apply in similar big clashes as Manchester United played on the break.
It’s proven to be a successful formula in the past and it’s likely to be used again in the future.
United were just minutes away from wrapping up a much-needed win at Old Trafford and will now just have to hope to make amends in their next fixture.
Solskjaer’s men take on Partizan in the Europa League this Thursday as they aim to get all three points to top their group.
