Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw are all expected to return for Manchester United for their meeting with Liverpool on Saturday, according to a report.
Shaw has been sidelined since the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in August, while Pogba has not been fully fit since suffering a foot injury prior to the September international break.
Wan-Bissaka, on the other hand, missed a run of games ahead of the latest international break due to a recurring back problem.
However, according to The Mirror, the trio are in line to make returns to the starting XI for the meeting with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It remains to be seen as to whether Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Diogo Dalot will recover in time for the clash as well.
Either way, the potential of a return for Pogba, the apex of this failing team, along with the restoration of United’s first-choice full-backs, at least gives supporters some kind of hope ahead of a game that many are deeply dreading.
