Manchester United fans were absolutely delighted to see Sir Alex Ferguson well and healthy after he was spotted back in Carrington.
It’s believed the legendary Scotsman was watching the U18s with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Michael Carrick ahead of the clash against Liverpool tomorrow.
United are in desperate need to return to the kind of form they would regularly show under Sir Alex given their position in table was 12th before this round of Premier League fixtures began.
A loss to Liverpool with other results going against them could see Solskjaer’s men drop even further to the relegation zone.
As much as the board want to support the former striker, finishing outside of the Europa League spots will likely see him sacked.

Fans have often loved to guess how well Sir Alex would’ve done with the current crop of players but it’s definitely difficult to imagine.
The former Aberdeen man was certainly a genius and could probably extract even more out of this squad but perhaps they are as awful as some say.
Perhaps even Sir Alex would struggle to compete given the regression and toxicity in the club at the moment.
Either way, the task rests on Solskjaer’s shoulders and he will have to prove his worth against Liverpool.
