Dani Ceballos has insisted that he is “where he wants to be” at Arsenal as he continues his season-long loan spell from Real Madrid (via Sport Witness).
It’s fair to say that Dani Ceballos has had a big impression on Arsenal fans in a short space of time.
The midfielder has made just 10 appearances for the Gunners since completing his season-long loan deal from Real Madrid.
He grabbed his first goal for the side last week and now, Ceballos has claimed that he is happy in North London and enjoying his football.
“I knew that this year was important because the goal is to go to the European Championship. Going to Arsenal has been an important step in my career,” Ceballos told AS while he is away with the Spanish national team.
“Whoever follows the Premier sees that it is a different league, it is more physical. It is a good, good league for me because I can improve on a physical level. I don’t feel sorry (about not being at Madrid).
“I know what my goal is this year. I know what I have in my head that was to play and enjoy my football.
“I am very happy in Arsenal; I played ten games where I showed my best level. Now I am where I want to be.
“My idea was clear from the outset, go out, play, enjoy football because in the previous two years I had not done so and I have been successful going out to Arsenal.”
Dani Ceballos has made a big impression at Arsenal since his summer move. The on-loan man is clearly talented and has shown as much in his ten matches for the Gunners. However, there is certainly a lot more to go from the 23-year-old who seems to be relishing his role in North London.
