Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe, Nemanja Matic and David de Gea will all miss Thursday’s Europa League clash with Partizan Belgrade after not training with the Manchester United squad on Wednesday.
Pogba, despite returning for two games earlier this month, continues to recover from a foot injury sustained prior to the international break.
Shaw and Matic have both travelled to Dubai to speed up their rehabilitation, while Tuanzebe suffered a hip injury in the warm-up for Man United’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
It was confirmed earlier today that the aforementioned quartet, along with De Gea, who is just being rested, had not trained with the group ahead of flying to Serbia this afternoon.

United once again enter Europe with something of a skeleton, experimental bunch, with several youngsters likely to receive some minutes in Belgrade.
The game against Partizan may also see Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard come into to the starting XI after both players returned to full fitness this week. How Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would love to see the pair firing in the final third once again.
