Manchester United legend Gary Neville has labelled Mino Raiola as a disgrace following the constant controversy in regards to Paul Pogba’s future.
The sensational Frenchman was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer but luckily he remained at Old Trafford in the end.
However, there’s the feeling Pogba will eventually get his move, whether it’s one summer or two away.
Neville feels it’s probably not the former Juventus man’s fault and rather it’s his agent’s for trying to push through transfers.
Nonetheless, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dealt well with the situation so far and the hope is now that he can somehow put it all to bed.
According to talkSPORT, Neville said: “[Pogba] wants to leave. He has made it clear. His agent is a disgrace and has been a disgrace all over Europe – not just for Manchester United.
“They must stop working with him. He doesn’t have the values you want in your club.
“My opinion is that Manchester United need not negotiate with him. He will try to fix a transfer for his player, and will try to take part of the transfer sum himself. That’s how he operates.
“For Manchester United, it’s devastating. He is one of the best and most famous players in the world, but every week there are new issues.
“There is always controversy. It’s probably not his own fault, but the fact is that it is devastating for a club.”
The truth is Manchester United cannot afford to lose Pogba at all any time soon simply due to their lack of midfielders.
Even if his quality is put aside for a moment, Solskjaer could see himself lose Nemanja Matic after reports emerged of a potential transfer to the Serie A.
Fred’s inability to integrate thus far could also see him moved on and so United could end up finding themselves losing four central midfielders since January alone with Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini taken into consideration.
If Pogba were to leave it would be devastating with Solskjaer potentially then forced to sign at least three central midfielders as replacements.
