Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed the news most fans wanted to hear, stating Paul Pogba will remain at the club this season.
The sensational Frenchman has been linked with a move away all summer, particularly with Real Madrid although Juventus and Barcelona were also believed to have been interested at various points.
Pogba was said to be crucial to Solskjaer’s plans to rebuild the club and it seems he’s managed to hold onto his main man.
Despite all the criticism the playmaking midfielder gets, he’s easily the best of the bunch at United so seeing him go would be a huge loss.
However, it seems Pogba will remain at Old Trafford after all and Solskjaer can prove to the former Juventus man just why he stayed.

Solskjaer’s confirmation also comes at a time where reports emerged of Real’s interest fading for various reasons.
It’s believed they don’t have the finances to meet United’s high asking-price after a summer of spending but there’s also another reason.
It was said the Spanish giants are withholding on bringing in Pogba in case Zinedine Zidane fails this season and they’re forced to bring in favourite Jose Mourinho.
Of course the pair clashed at Manchester United so it wouldn’t be the smartest decision but it remains to be seen whether there’s truth to those claims.
