Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally given the fans what they want by admitting Harry Maguire’s transfer to the club is basically done.
Leicester City have been stubborn in negotiations for a long period of time but it’s believed a breakthrough has happened and so the talented Englishman is only a few minor details away from being announced.
The latest reports claim he’ll be revealed on Monday but in truth, once Solskjaer confirmed the transfer, that’s all supporters needed to hear.
It’s unlikely the legendary Norwegian will have been allowed to say what he did had the club not been absolutely sure the deal would happen.
Maguire is a welcome boost to a leaky defence and so fans will be excited to see him in action if he’s fit to face Chelsea next week.

With Maguire now at Old Trafford, United actually have an abundance of centre-backs with all of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe all competing for the two spots in the starting XI.
Many expect the silky Swede to partner the Red Devils’ new signing so it’s just a question of who Solskjaer believes should be their back-up.
