Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku is reportedly set to get his dream move to Inter Milan with one of the summer’s biggest transfer sagas coming to a conclusion.
The talented Belgian has had a mixed time at Old Trafford having had a goalscoring first season marred by an incredible drought.
His second campaign at United saw him outscored by Paul Pogba in Jose Mourinho’s turbulent end to the era.
Lukaku clearly struggled to recover from the World Cup effectively and it was believed his Portuguese manager had attempted to turn him into a target-man which was a role he did not enjoy.
Nonetheless, the Red Devils are losing a proven goalscorer and there will be concerns should he not be adequately replaced.
Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan, here we go! The agreement has reached between clubs with Man United. Just waiting for last details, it’s paperwork time. Big Rom is going to join Inter! #transfers #Inter #MUFC #ManUnited

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer clearly prefers Marcus Rashford to Lukaku but it could be argued had he fought for his place in the starting XI, he may have ended up having a successful career at Manchester United.
However, it seems the former Everton man wants to feel as though he’s the main man at whatever club he’s at, which is his right, but unfortunately that couldn’t be the case at Old Trafford.
Lukaku used to be a dynamic striker at Everton, Chelsea and West Brom as he was known to be a powerful, pacy so there’s no doubt he could’ve been so under Solskjaer. It’s a shame fans will never find out.
