It’s clear that Celtic’s Kieran Tierney is one of Arsenal’s big targets for this summer transfer window.
The Gunners have already had a bid rejected for the Scottish international left-back and have been locked in discussions with Celtic ever since.
Well, it looks as if there has been a breakthrough in discussions after Tierney left Celtic’s summer training camp.
Tierney and the rest of his teammates have been in Austria in recent weeks but the 22-year-old has departed and is back in Glasgow.
It’s unclear whether this means there has been a breakthrough in discussions between Celtic but reports now suggest that Arsenal could include Carl Jenkinson in any potential deal.
We can expect this and several other potential transfers to pick up pace this week. Many top clubs are returning for business this week so we can expect more movement in the transfer market. Arsenal have six weeks to get their business done and a lot of work to complete in that time.
