Marcus Rashford has expressed his delight after penning a new deal at Manchester United keeping him at the club until 2023.
The 21-year-old, who scored four goals in his opening pair of senior games back in 2016, has cemented himself as Man United’s leading striker under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Wearing the No.10 shirt, Rashford was involved in a goal every 84 minutes during Solskjaer’s first five games as United boss last season, and scored the decisive penalty in that famous victory over Paris Saint Germain.
He took to social media after the club announced his new deal, which is thought to be worth around £200,000-a-week.

Anybody who doesn’t adore this boy simply doesn’t understand this club.
From Wythenshawe, a boyhood United fan, the best of his age group right up until age 18; thrown into a poor United team and lighting up the pitch immediately; bossing it at the Euros and the World Cup; winning three different major trophies before even leaving teenagehood; scoring against Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Chelsea; bombing behind the lines, or down the wings; being Manc born and bred; making us, the fans, get up off our seats more than any other player. He is United’s No.10.
And the best thing? There’s a whole career still lying ahead of him.
